No matter what this man is accused of, and no matter how much evidence is being attained, the manipulated keep giving him money and support. I wonder if this move will make any of them reconsider?
"ReTruthing," (amazing) is clearly an act of desperation to appeal to a TRUE cult. But given what these people believe, this is a step in to the abyss. The Q pin and "The Storm is Coming" has "proven" to them that Trump is one of them.
@JimboSaturn Well, he threw in with QAnon on Truth Social yesterday so I'd say the bat shit crazy is underway. He's a cornered rat. And he knows it. Guess the question is how far will he go to try and escape.
@Ynotisay yes he is desperate when he has to pander to Qanon. He needs all the conspiracy theory he can get to convince people he did nothing wrong with bringing those files to his home.
You can see the desperation here too, the trump people's post are getting ridiculous. One recently had one with the title "Would you let him babysit your kids?" about Biden, no debate, no real issues.
@JimboSaturn At this point, it must come down to the lack of ability the most easily manipulated have in admitting they were taken in by a con artist. I can't think of another reason to entirely ignore the truth like they are. It's messed up.
Do you find that the Trump lovers here are getting more QAnon like? They are all on this Biden is a pedophile thing with no accusations, evidence, or anything. The are all talking sex more.
@Ynotisay I do, but piling up evidence that's not strictly relevant to the point at hand is wasteful and potentially prejudicial. (FRE 403, if you want to go there).
If Biden, or Trump, for that matter, committed a crime, what the hell does evidence of other crimes have to do with it?
Think speeding tickets. Cop nails you with a speed gun. Should you really be able to introduce evidence of every other speeder he missed, let off, or wasn't in the right place to catch, because he was sitting in your neighborhood as opposed to some other one?
I get selective prosecution is a problem, but imo, its better then non-prosecution at all, and shouldn't be a defense to guilt.
@MistyCee I think the point was that the evidence has CLEARLY been stacked up by those who accuse others of the crimes they themselves commit. Or, at the very least, the votes they make. Her comment was predicated by the irony of the situation. I expanded on it because, personally, I'm sick of the morality police exhibiting the exact behavior they claim to despise. We see it consistently in religion and, clearly, politics. "Do what I say - not what I do" doesn't fly with me.
@Northwest And they'll let it slide. The most truthful thing Trump ever said, and there's only a handful, was that he could shoot someone on 5th Ave. and not lose supporters. Mind blowing.
@Ynotisay They have no choice but let it slide. It's like watching a train wreck. If they complain, the MAGA base will eat them alive. I think they're hoping he ends up in jail prior to the 1st Tuesday in November.
@Bluebirdsonmyshoulder Maybe. Although I'd say the opinion that discounts lizard people, global cabals of prominent child molesters and Democrats eating babies probably carries jusssst a little more weight. Any attempt at legitimization of "Q" should be off the table for any, half-way reasonable, American. They're a dangerous cult. No seat at the grownup table for them.
@LordShadowfire Is Qanon the same people who believe in the "great reset" and bill gates and biden and bush etc... and they are satanists or is that some other conspiracy theory?
