Donald Trump leaves the White House with a wheelbarrow full of sensitive information and Republican/MAGA reaction is 'so what?'

Yet it's easy to imagine what would have happened if Obama had left office with as much as a Post It note stuck to the bottom of his shoe.

FOX NEWS: OBAMA POST IT CRISES DAY 937
"Tucker, this story gets more disturbing each day. We now know with certainty that the information on that Post It was:
Milk
Butter
Yogurt
This may be the most disastrous security breach in our history. And the big question is still unanswered: just what was Obama planning on doing with that information?"

[c=7700B2]and on a social media platform we're all familiar with...[/c]

OBAMA IS A TRAITOR! OBAMA SOLD US OUT! RUSSIA NOW KNOWS WE HAVE BUTTER! LOCK HIM UP NOW! GOD BLESS AMERICA! THESE COLORS DON'T RUN! LET'S GO BRANDON! MY WHOLE VOCABULARY COMES FROM BUMPER STICKERS!

[c=003BB2]comment[/c] there's a rumor that the Post It actually says margarine, not butter. But the libs are trying to suppress it.

[c=003BB2]comment[/c] Sky News just reported the Post It also says 'Velveeta'
[c=003BB2]comment[/c] oh my God if that's
true...

[c=003BB2]comment[/c] hey guys, can we talk about Hunter Biden? It's been a while.

Um, every president leaves the White House with boxes and boxes of documents for storage in their Presidential library. Elite Democrats and their media are counting on total Democrat ignorance of this. When I went to the Reagan library, they noted he had his presidential papers stored there. This is Democrats manufacturing a "crime" against a political rival, like Democrats saw in their beloved Soviet Union.

@graphite No, presidents do not do that. Presidential libraries are maintained by NARA, not the former presidents.

@graphite umm...you are mistaken. Records are stored at the many archival storages around the country. When a presidential library is opened, records and such are then stored there. They are part of the national archive system.
Potus' do not take and store govt records in their homes. And the type of records that are claimed to be in question, most certainly would not be found in any other potus' home. It's insane to even consider such a thing.

@graphite Since you think it's so funny, maybe take 10 seconds and learn something:

@Carla Trump's lawyers nailed it in their latest filing: “In what at its core is a document storage dispute that has spiraled out of control,” the response from the Trump legal team said, “the government wrongfully seeks to criminalize the possession by the 45th president of his own presidential and personal records.” Democrats and their Soviet-style, "You find the man, I'll find the crime," fake prosecutions. The Russia Hoax failed, now they've moved on to this.

Ten seconds? @OggggO, you're asking too much.
Squirrel!!

@graphite
“the government wrongfully seeks to criminalize the possession by the 45th president of his own presidential and personal records.
That actually is explicitly illegal, per the Presidential Records Act.
(g)
(1) Upon the conclusion of a President’s term of office, or if a President serves consecutive terms upon the conclusion of the last term, the Archivist of the United States shall assume responsibility for the custody, control, and preservation of, and access to, the Presidential records of that President. The Archivist shall have an affirmative duty to make such records available to the public as rapidly and completely as possible consistent with the provisions of this chapter.
(2) The Archivist shall deposit all such Presidential records in a Presidential archival depository or another archival facility operated by the United States. The Archivist is authorized to designate, after consultation with the former President, a director at each depository or facility, who shall be responsible for the care and preservation of such records.
@graphite presidential records are not his. The law clearly states that to be so.
And, as a private citizen, he has no rights to confidential records.
And...why did he affirm that all records were returned months ago?
And, if there is nothing wrong in what he did, why not allow the return of his personal records and a full inquiry into what damage may have been done and a coherent reason as to why he had them in the first place.
@Carla YES!

@graphite Hey, if @allygator18 can get this right in her age group, with your extra 40 years of experiences, memories, etc., *you* ought to be all over the CORRECT answer...

[Great job, @allygator18 ]

@graphite your ignorance isn't surprising, nor your determination to double down
