McConnell is a rino. He’s only in it for Mitch . The same goes for Cornyn . And the GOP belongs to Trump . Last night for example , all the Trump backed candidates won their seats from democrats except for one that was a long shot . Even I Deep South Texas , Trump republicans were victorious and won seats that have been in democrat hands for decades.

McConnell has the problem of how to move the party towards sanity and away from trump and keep the trump base. The same base that GOP internal polling found absolutely unmoved by the Jan 6 insurrection, and will not be swayed by the Jan 6 committee. They have found their messiah.
