Trump's 2nd impeachment trial [I Think That Donald Trump Is Dangerous For This Country]

I watched the impeachment trial the last few days, but I am not today. I am not interested in hearing Trump's lawyers bs in defense of him. He is guilty, but I doubt The Republicans have the guts to convict him. They are cowards.

There was a moment there after Trump fired his former legal team when he was musing over the idea of representing himself in court instead of cobbling together another team, and I fucking wish that would have happened. Seeing Trump represent himself in a trial would have been hysterical.

I'm listening a little but there is no defense. They admitted they aren't going to try because they already have the votes.
In an ACTUAL trial that would be grounds for a mistrial. Or at the very least dismissing a biased jury that enabled the crime in question.
Tbh that could probably be argued as being unconstitutional due to Nemo judex in causa sua. No one may be a judge in their own case.

@BlueMetalChick look at what is going on. The riots were paid for by the DNC. BLM is paid for by the DNC. Impeachment is revenge. They even said before Trump was elected they would impeach him if he won.
How many billions did polosi give to her friends instead of those who need it. Wake up!!!!!
Biden is trying to implement travel restrictions in the United States.

By the way you can not legally impeach a president who is no longer in office. I'd it was legal a supreme court justice is required to preside over it. No judge is there.
It's not legal and every one knows it. It is a blatant violation of our constitution. This is just another way the communists are trying to take over.

We shouldn't, because that's called [i]begging the question[/i] but just for the purposes of argument, let's do it. Even if we accept that everything you just said is true, about the Democratic National Committee secretly staging the riots by paying for people to storm the capitol building and that Black Lives Matter is in on it...HOW does that have anything to do with communism? Communism is a very specific economic system. Communists want to abolish the use of currency and remove the entire private sector from existence. When have you seen a single democratic politician, or ANY politician of any party or affiliation, in this entire country, advocate for that? Give me one example of one politician who has ever proposed a communist idea.

If you hate democrats, fine. I kinda hate them too to be honest with you. If you hate communists, fine. I'm not a communist and I won't go out of my way to defend them. But pretending that democrats are communists is like pretending that Al Qaeda is the same thing as the KKK.

Doesn't this boil down to Republicans basically insisting on acquitting the orange regardless of what evidence may or may not be presented, therefore calling the process a waste of time? The question surely isn't why might this result in time being wasted, but rather why are they insisting on acquitting the orange. At least that's how it seems to me. Of course cultist geniuses have their own incantations to interpret this magically in ways that nobody else would comprehend, it seems, as usual.
