@TheRascallyOne Are you nuts ? Why do you imagine Trump refused to divest any of his business interests while serving as president ? It would’ve been a simple thing to sign over hotels and buildings to his sons or daughter, as is the usual protocol to avoid any conflict of interest. And his declaration about donating his salary as president ? Money has been going into his pockets throughout his presidency from all kinds of dignitaries and foreign leaders staying in his hotels or at Mar-A-Lago. Moreover, with this latest “fundraising” ploy from supporters foolish enough to give him money, he’s still lining his pockets—even though he won’t be president. And he’s pardoning all the folks who helped him get away with it. He’s a conman, because people who are still supporting him are gullible. Trump counts on that—always has.

@TheRascallyOne But he’s not. The only reason Trump brought up the $2000 figure was to screw with his own party. The Democrats wanted the larger figure—the GOP, led by Mitch McConnell, is saying the country can’t afford it.

He didn’t give us “a great economy”, he piggybacked off of his predecessor’s accomplishments and then lied about it, while destroying that which might’ve helped longterm, like the environmental protections. As far as peace deals, it’s puffery—like the “deal” with North Korea that hasn’t prevented anything and the deals we actually had with Iran and Cuba that he screwed up for his own ego. Not to mention all the folks who have died on his watch because he was slow to react to this pandemic. Did you know that his predecessor also left him a means where he could’ve possibly gotten a jump on this, but Trump refused to use it and lied about its existence ? That’s how little Trump cared about the American people.
