Here's something even more interesting -- IDK if you know how the Electoral College works, but basically Americans vote for electors who then vote for the President, and the electors don't technically have to vote the way the way the people tell them to vote. If the state legislature wanted to, they could actually force the electors to vote for Trump even though the constituency voted for Biden. Trump has asked the state legislatures about doing this according to the Atlantic, but it's unlikely that they'd go for something so obviously antidemocratic.

Still though, there's a tiny chance of it happening and if it does, we're fucked.
