You are also arguing a point that wasn't made by the poster so I don't know why you commented. He is talking about wishing death on another, not "someone not understanding the significance of a disease and not so surprisingly contracting it"

@Jackaloftheazuresand have you thought that maybe/possibly the parents were trying to protect their kids from something worse? No body leaves their own home unless if it is a matter of life or death. Whether that be wars/drug violence/starvation etc.
I did comment on a general consensus exactly as OP did. I have yet to see someone wish death directly to President Trump. I mostly see people of the opposition condemning him for his reckless stance against the virus (including the deaths of people after his own advice in ingesting hydroxychloroquine) that has led to the harm of others.
Meanwhile the strongest hatred comes from his very own supporters who are very willing to however support crimes against humanity commited under his office.
Besides,as conservatives very often like to remind us,freedom of speech and their very first amendment also gives me and the opposition the right to express their opinion,whether you agree with it or not . Just as I have to accept their toxicity and the expression of that more so

@PepsiColaP Oh I know what countries like Mexico are capable of since I've seen videos of their federal agents dismembering cartel members for their rivals because they were on the take but we have a very safe and accessible way to immigrate and it's their fault they don't use it.

The fact is this post wasn't about a comparison, it's also odd you tell me you mostly see something while at the same time you have yet to see it. Which is it, have you seen it or not? Mostly implies you have in some capacity so are you lying to me? Do you wish death on Trump? That's personally okay with me but don't lie about it or try to hide it with the what about you guys.

@Jackaloftheazuresand I said I am yet to see someone of the opposition (being centre-left/left) wish for President Trump to die directly. While I see his supporters consistently support his very problematic policies and actions while in office that undermine the value of human life. I suggest you re/read what I wrote if you find it hard to comprehend all the information at once.
Also,the accounts of one person seeing a video of something that I haven't seen myself /I dont know the source of /etc. Etc. Does not tell me much. But you can have your opinions just as I have mines,ofcourse. And I am sorry if it upsets you that much that I do .

How others perceive me and wish to feel about me is not something I will spend my energy on. They have the right to do that and I have the right to let it be.

However, the sincerity and consistency of those calling for compassion when they never show any otherwise is another matter. I can not wish death on Trump and still think a lot of the people crowing about it are full of shit.
