I Support Donald Trump

I love the way Trump is handling this impeachment fiasco that the Democratic house of representatives is following, KNOWING that the Republicans own the senate, and in the end, NOTHING WILL HAPPEN..
But the Democrats will make fools of themselves before the 2020 election and show to the voting citizens of the USA how much they misunderstand how to govern the country.. And how they waste precious time in governing the really important issues this country face..

What do you think?

I think they made a big mistake, if I were a democrat rather than waste all this time on what will ultimately be a failed impeachment, I would concentrate on something the considered important by Americans like health care.

@Subsumedpat yes, I agree. It is preaching to the converted and may actually mobilise his base. The undecided won't be swayed by this because it isn't out of the ballpark of past outrages- they'll probably be caring a lot more about quality of life issues

@SW-User Yep instead of talking about the Ukraine I would be talking about healthcare. He made 6 promises on healthcare:

1. Insurance for everybody.
2. No cuts to Medicaid.
3. Nobody will loose coverage.
4. Nobody will be worse off financially (because of his insurance changes.)
5. Get rid of artificial lines (sell policies across state lines.)
6. Everybody is going to be taken care of.

“I am going to take care of everybody … Everybody’s going to be taken care of much better than they’re taken care of now.”, it ill end with “a beautiful picture.”

Did it happen? What did happen? They did pass a plan and if it had gone through 24 more million people would have lost coverage. A failed promise in an area that really counts.

@Subsumedpat I want to elect you

@SW-User I don't know about that, there are so many mistakes that we should have fixed already I would preside over too many failures. For example medicare was passed as a pay as you go plan when 5 people were working for every 1 retired. In another 10 years we will have 2.4 people working for every 1 retired. We should have taken our changing demographics into account from the beginning and set rates accordingly so that we don't get caught owing more than we can afford to pay. But we did not. We did come close to setting social security up right but then we spent the surpluses rather than invest them so they are not there now that we are about to need them.

We need a whole new party dedicated to supporting a sustainable america not to sustaining a party.

@Subsumedpat I TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU, about the fact that congress needs to focus on productive things, not dead end issues like this impeachment of Trump...

@polyandrym66 @Subsumedpat
It's a clever move, Dems know Senate Republicans will vote it down. However it's put Trumps Presidency on full display!
Nunes & Jordan have caused untold damage, as has Trump with his bullying and immature tweets.
@polyandrym66 How is Congress supposed to “focus on productive things” when McConnell won’t allow the Senate to vote on any of them?

@LeopoldBloom EXACTLY...
