You mean the 90 year old co-founder (Bernie Marcus) who retired from Home Depot in 2002 and has not had a business relationship with in almost 20 years?

I think boycotting Home Depot - who employs half a million people - based on a decision from a feeble minded man is silly.

@splishsplash then, I will have to check on whether he benefits at all from the business.
@samueltyler2

Of course he benefits from the business he co-founded ie: stocks.

It would stand to reason that many businesses support Republicans simply because they are known to give the rich tax breaks.

@splishsplash support with some contributions, but this administration is something totally different, and he donated millions. One report has him.as the MAJOR supporter. I am not anti industry or corporations, but rolling back rules to protect workers through changes in labor laws and relaxing controls over polluters or relaxing FDA role in assuring safe medications is supporting corporate evil activity.
@samueltyler2

I dislike Donald Trump and his posse as much as the next person BUT penalizing good honest people - who work at Home Depot - is NOT (in my opinion) a rational decision. What the boycotts are doing is jeopardizing these individual's jobs and ability to support their families.

I think this bares repeating - Most business owners support Republican politicians based on their history of tax breaks for the wealthy. You would be hard pressed to find one major business who has not directly or in directly contributed to a Republican.

I could not agree with you more. We need to control contributions and get rid of lobbyists - once and for all.

@splishsplash as far ask am concerned, one of the worst thing that happened in the past 5 years was the SCOTUS decision about Citizen United! That has totally corrupted the electoral process!
