@akindheart The news today about Apple is interesting. Apparently the totals reported are more than double what the reality is. that is advertising for you. There are lots of other things about their movement of funds to the US that I really don't understand, suffice it to say, the loopholes left in the new law, enables them to pay a real rate of tax below 15%. Also, the one time repatriation is just that, one time and represents the money they "stored" overseas and will not be recurring after the whatever number of years it will take, 3 or 4 I believe. So the next administration will not have the repatriation of Apple dollars. Somewhat gimmicky, but it is tough to blame them, it is perfectly legal.

I am very worried that the eventual finding of problems with money laundering, etc., but people associated with the current administration may cause the current economical bubble to burst. Let us hop that there are enough protections left in effect when that happens, to avoid another recession, or worse.

@samueltyler2 hmmm. so they make it sound like they are doing us a favor but in the end, they are getting all the benefits? the infusion of cash will be good though right?

Keep reading the information on both the right and left media, you decide if the benefit is to the general public! The stockholders and some employees may benefit, it is unlikely that the general economy will. Take a look at the negotiations over Amazon and the tax give ways, etcm, being offered! Will there actually be a net gain? We shall see.

@akindheart It is often difficult to watch TV from both sides. I find myself yelling at the TV!

@samueltyler2 thats funny. i did read that trump did something positive. he is not allowing the haitians and the people from Belize in to work for the farms. very positive news

@akindheart depends on if the framers can find enough workers to work the farms. Unfortunately it is difficult to get workers to do that sort of labor. Remember that slavery was "required" for he southern economy.
