I Believe Barack Obama Is Dangerous For This Country

LivingWell, I challenge you to name just one president from the past 125 years that has not screwed the United States and its citizens in some way or other. Ike comes the closest, but even he screwed us. However, the name of this particular experience is "I Believe Barack Obama Is Dangerous For This Country," Not "I believe GW Bush was a bad president" or "I think Ronald Reagan made some huge mistakes." This group deals solely with Barack Obama.

Barack Obama - The man who has allowed the federal government to more than double the already record debt. At this point, the federal government has committed you and me (and out children and grandchildren) to *unfunded* liabilities of nearly 125 trillion dollars. That's over 1 million dollars for each and every taxpayer in the United States! Yet what has Barack Obama done to stop the spiral of government spending? Oh, that's right - He stopped the White house tours and then decided to take his wife, daughters, mother-in-law and niece to Africa to the tune of 60-100 millions of our dollars.

Barack Obama - The man who right off the bat went around the world apologizing for the United States. The man who has made the United States the laughing stock of much of the world, to the point where the president of Russia virtually laughs in our face!

Barack Obama - The man who continues to send billions of you and my money to governments and countries that hate us and provide funding and cover for terrorist organizations that would do us further harm.

Barack Obama - The leader and commander of our military who seemingly ignored the fact that our facility in Benghazi was being attacked. The one who ignored the Libyan leadership who told u right off the bat that the action was a terrorist attack. The one who continues to ignore the fact that 4 US citizens were cut down during that attack. The same man who, for weeks, lied to the country and to the world by calling it a spontaneous action in response to an anti-Islamic video...and even paid over $60,000 to make and broadcast a video that perpetuated that lie to the Islamic world. All this because he had previously intimated to the American Public that he had anti-US terrorism taken care of and if he called the Benghazi attack "terrorism" in those last week before the 2012 election, it would possibly affect his support and perhaps the outcome of the election. And who is no doubt responsible for the virtual sequestering of those who survived the attack, thereby blocking off information needed by congressional investigators.

Barack Obama - The man that, instead of calling for a congressional investigation, allows the Attorney General, his close buddy, investigate himself! The man who lets the Attorney General perjure himself in front of a congressional committee with no consequences.

Barack Obama - Under whose watch the IRS was directed to single out conservative people and groups for close scrutiny and worse: To backlog the applications of over 40 groups seeking nonprofit status simply because terms such as "tea party" or "Liberty" were present in their applications. Some of these groups have been waiting over 2 years for approval, while groups with extremely liberal philosophies are approved in as little as 11 days!

Barack Obama - The man who, in numerous precincts in Ohio, Michigan and Pennsylvania received more votes than there were registered voters, and where the opposition got NO votes whatever.

Just say the word, LivingWell, and I would be happy to continue. But right now, I need to take a blood pressure pill!

I was almost okay with everything you said once you brought up the Benghazi scandal I al ready knew you are one of those Fox News Republicans and let me tell you your Republicans party ain't going to win the presidency if you keep cutting taxes for the 1% percent I don't have nothing against the 2% or 1% percent but I think is fair the they pay their taxes . I don't want them to help the poor that's not what I'm asking cause the is Socialist but they do have the right as a American to do their job and pay taxes here in the States.. Are biggest debt is cutting taxes for the rich ..

Nymph4l1fe, I'm just curious how the administration's failure in regards to the Benghazi attack makes me a "Fox News Republican." Are you telling me that our facility in Benghazi was not attacked on 9-11-2012 and that Fox News made the story up? Are you saying that 4 of our citizens were not killed in that attack? That military response on our part was available and not told to stand down? Am I missing something here? That the administration did not lie to us by demanding it was the anti-Islam video that sparked the "demonstration" that killed our ambassador and three other US citizens?

And let me tell you, friend, I don't think there is a Republican around that is fit to be president. Nor do I think there is a Democrat that could fit the bill. No, I am not a republican.

I don't recall saying anything about taxes, but since you decided to mention them...is it not a fact that the top income 1% pay 33.7% of the income tax collected by the IRS? That the top 5% pays in 53.8%. And the bottom one-half of the income ladder of American taxpayers pays in a total of only 2.25%. Don't blame me for those numbers, they come from the US Treasury Department. Personally, I am way below any of the high level income brackets, but I don't feel that less than 6% of the taxpayers should be required to pay over half of the cost of running this country. (Well, actually, the government is spending so much more money than it takes in that we have to borrow 47% of what the government is spending.) So why is it you feel that the top 2% are not paying their share? How about the nearly 50% of taxpayers that pay no income tax at all?

Y'know, you and I may never be big-shots with 7-figure annual incomes, but do you think it is right to punish those who succeed in life by taxing their success? What does that do to the desire to succeed? "Oh, I want to make a million bucks this year so I can still end up with the same net income as someone that makes 100 thousand." Great encouragement for someone to excel in their profession!

Oh, I get it. Head wound. There there now, it will be ok.

I also want everyone to pay their fair share of taxes. Has it ever occurred to you that while the democrats are busy blasting the republicans for "supporting big business and the 1%" it is they who have had more opportunity to pass new laws getting rid of those loopholes that help the 1% but have not even attempted to do so? Think on that for a while and once it sinks in come back and tell us how bad those evil republicans really are, ok.

And btw, our biggest debt is NOT the result of cutting taxes. First, that presumes our taxes are the government's property, and they aren't. Secondly, even if our taxes WERE the government's property their cutting that liability comes nowhere close to our spending on those who cannot or will not work for their own keep. You're way off base.
