It seems the now 69 yr old John Edwards, former vice-presidential candidate turned personal injury lawyer (ambulance chaser), is now all but forgotten. Do any of you remember him?

The only reason I do remember him is because 2004 was the only time since 1988 (and the only time since 2004) that a Republican won the majority vote of the people.

@TrumpIsFinallyGone You mean in a presidential election, right?
TrumpIsFinallyGone · 41-45, M
@SW-User Correct.

@TrumpIsFinallyGone Hmmmm. No wonder the republicans will fight to the death to retain the electoral college. The will of the people be damned, eh?

@SW-User Absolutely. It's the only way the second place finisher in the vote total can win. Interesting how that works in a democracy isn't it. I'm waiting for the day they try to change a state's method of electing federal senators to office by means of how many counties they win.

@TrumpIsFinallyGone I'm sure they've thought of it, smh.
