A Timely reminder about Trump...

He could deny allegations much more effectively if he'd testify under oath.

But who takes the Fifth?

There could also have been non-RINO Republicans on the committee, but Nancy wasn't going to repeat the same mistake as when Mueller was made a fool of of six hours on national TV.

This extravaganza was not going to permit unfriendly cross-examination. 😂 😂 😂
OggggO · 36-40, M
@Thinkerbell It wasn't Democrats who blocked the bipartisan committee.
@Thinkerbell McCarthy withdrew all of his nominations and not just the 2.

McCarthy enabled Pelosi's extravaganza, imo.

Trump has already pissed on him a little bit, but why does Trump always run from the law and cross-examination?

@MistyCee show me a fair and unbiased legal system when it pertains to the likes of Adam Schiff and the democrats being in control of the DOJ after they have previously demonstrated that they will tell any lie or fabricate any information in order to convict him of some imagined crime. If he were my client, I wouldn’t let him testify either. The legal system is designed to protect the innocent, not persecute political enemy's.

@MistyCee

"McCarthy withdrew all of his nominations and not just the 2."

McCarthy only withdrew his nominations after Pelosi rejected Reps. Jim Jordan of Ohio and Jim Banks of Indiana from the panel.

She rightly feared Jordan and Banks.

McCarthy wasn't going to cooperate with her kangaroo panel after that.

"...why does Trump always run from the law and cross-examination?"

Why would Trump agree to appear before a kangaroo panel?
monte3 · 70-79, M
@Thinkerbell Jordan and McCarthy only would obstruct and try to avoid the truth not seek it.
It must be painful to see your cult leader look this bad. Or did you already now he was this bad and that is why you love him?
Thinkerbell · 41-45, F
@monte3

They wouldn't obstruct the truth, they would find it, just as when Mueller was shown to be an utter fool on national TV for six hours. Even CNN's Don Lemon was shocked at how bad Mueller looked; Lemon's characteristic smug smirk was nowhere to be seen in the post-mortem. 😂

Nancy couldn't allow a repeat of something like that, especially not shortly before an election.
@Thinkerbell Kangaroo court comes to mind
OggggO · 36-40, M
@Thinkerbell Lol, Jordan couldn't find the truth if his life depended on it.

@monte3 good boy! You got your talking points in. What a good little soldier!

Here, have a cookie!
monte3 · 70-79, M
@SW-User sorry that the truth hurts. So you still be
I eve trump? 😉. And I do have “talking points”. Those are also known as ideas..

@OggggO

"Lol, Jordan couldn't find the truth if his life depended on it."

Q. Then why is Nancy so afraid of him?

A. He would make the Democrats on the committee look like the fools that they are.
monte3 · 70-79, M
@Thinkerbell my guess is when the assistant wrestling coach went up against Lafy Ruby she would body slam him without messing up her hair.
Again Jordan’s purpose on the committee would have been to protect trump and his lackeys. The truth is coming out which is what he would have unsuccessfully tried to stop.
Notice it was Jordan that Hutchinson and coconspirator Meadows we’re concerned about on Jan 6. Which shows how closely tied in he was.
Also Jordan was on the Ukraine committee and the truth came out anyway. Few Republicans cared but it did.

@monte3 for the 10,000th straight time you will be blueballed. A way of life for you by now
Thinkerbell · 41-45, F
@monte3

LOL, the truth about Ukraine was known even to ABC news:

Not that it hadn't long been obvious from old Joe's own loose lips:

@Thinkerbell seriously?
1. Trump didn’t give a frig about any legality of anything in the Ukraine.
2. The guy Biden was “bragging “ about getting rid of was SO corrupt that if he was investigating the company Hunter was associated with it as for being late with their bribes and kickbacks.
3. Trump clearly cared about nothing except forcing The Ukrainian President to say they were investigating Biden’s association with Ukraine. “We just need a favor”.
4. And the “perfect call” was so obvious that even trumpatiods can see what he was doing, you just don’t care.
@monte3 No matter how you try to spin it, it’s still quid pro quo. So by liberal rules, Biden needs to be impeached. 😏 Or did you conveniently forget that?
TexChik · F
@stratosranger That was out before the election but apparently 2000 mules and Dominion didn’t watch it 🤷🏻‍♀️

@monte3

"The guy Biden was “bragging “ about getting rid of was SO corrupt that if he was investigating the company Hunter was associated with it as for being late with their bribes and kickbacks."

Tell ABC news... they seem not to have gotten your memo in this case, although usually they can be counted on to toe the Democrat line.
Not this time.
OggggO · 36-40, M
@Thinkerbell She's not "afraid" of him, she rightly made the call not to put a blatant stooge on the investigative committee.
monte3 · 70-79, M
Precisely my point more concisely stated. 👍@OggggO
Thinkerbell · 41-45, F
@OggggO @monte3

You mean Nancy packed the committee with her blatant stooges.
Exactly @Thinkerbell
OggggO · 36-40, M
@Thinkerbell No, I mean Jordan is a dumbass who doesn't belong in Congress at all (and you damn well know it), let alone on such an important assignment.

@OggggO Whatever you say - that's why you're so scared of him😴
