Trump is fundamentally incapable of telling the truth, as his White House Counsel admitted. He cannot go under oath without committing perjury, so no attorney will allow him to do so.

@windinhishair You're on the money. It's a no-win for him. And, it appears, a whole lot of others. But that's why he has Truth Social.
The idea that some of the witnesses were contacted in advance under the guise of "We know you're loyal" is another animal.
