I'm watching my 600lbs life and I can't figure out how people can afford to eat so much, food isn't cheap, and I'm guessing they're eating a couple
hundred dollars a day worth of food.

It’s same as any addiction I suppose… you lose interest in anything other than the next fix… and you fork out money to feed it (literally in this sense)

@WaryWitchWandering Yeah I had a guy at the apartments say he could always go to his uncle’s hamburger place and get fed. He was on disability for his weight and got $ from that and pretty sure food stamps too. He said every man in his family was huge and his uncle included and they usually died young. A few years later his uncle had a heart attack and sold his restaurant. And another man with a hamburger restaurant chain here also had a heart attack.

Yeah especially these days. I heard one man on a talk show say that he would consume the most calories for the money. For example, drinking Koolaid made from cheap packets and mix a lot of sugar in it and drink a lot of it each day. That was one thing. And since they get to the point that they are disabled they probably get food stamps and maybe qualify for other food charities like church pantries food or whatever. But the people I’ve seen on that show usually eat a lot of fast food from what I’ve noticed and I don’t know how they do it. Maybe they don’t spend money on entertainment or other things that most others do.

@Lostpoet I disagree, there are plenty of families in proper need and I hate that someone can overeat, continue to overeat, be considered disabled because of their overeating, and then get funded to continue even more with their overeating…
While good families struggle and go hungry.. there is just so much absolutely abused and flawed with the system.. and people like that just piss me off..
