Have you ever tried to learn computer programing?????? [I Want to Be Happy And Make Others Be Happy]

I gave it a shot a few months ago.
It's so hard.
The reason it is hard is because you have to learn a bunch of stuff that won't be usful til later on.
UGGGG!!!!
I need to use it as I learn.

I am proficient in Python.
I also learned and programmed in Ruby, PHP, JavaScript and HTML.
Prior to that, I programmed for money in C and assembler.

@Lanyx Well la tee da. Aren't you special. LOL
Which did you learn first and did you take a real class??
Lanyx · 41-45, M
@Dainbramadge Assembler as part of my Bachelor degree in Electronics. Year was 1997

@Lanyx So you have been at it long enough that it's probably pretty easy to pick up the new ones.
How would you rate Python for an introductory??
I did a little basic back in the day.
Lanyx · 41-45, M
@Dainbramadge I would rate Python a 3/10 in difficulty to learn for a beginner. I used w3schools, and did their examples on my own.

@Lanyx That is what I am doing.... or was.
I found some tutorials on YouTube but really couldn't connect.
I will keep looking for a better course beings as there are so many of them.
One is bound to fit.

@Dainbramadge You want to program a game in Python? They have a module for that. Its called "PyGame" or something like that.
Dainbramadge · 56-60, M
@Lanyx Is that a different editor? I use Pycharm for a Python editor.
Lanyx · 41-45, M
@Dainbramadge No. PyGame is a "plug-in" into Python. Effectively, it is a library.

@Lanyx I shall look into this.
I did find a program that isn't programing called Unreal. It's instant gratification type stuff.
