You asked and so here goes.

I would enjoy having a dinner with Neil deGrasse Tyson. Wish I would have paid more attention in physics class.

Only if I could be a Jonas Salk famous for doing something good for humanity.

If it’s a business call, definitely. Other than that no.

Breakfast at the campsite, morning hike, light lunch, afternoon on the beach, shower, dinner, campfire. Maybe another twilight hike.

Everyday in the car I sing with the radio. Not really sure when I sang to someone.

I’m taking the body of a thirty year old with the knowledge I have now.

Music, love of theatre and reading for a few.

The almost 40 years with my soulmate.

Living closer to my high school so I could have been in more things at school.

I wouldn’t know where to start, but it was our life.

I’d like to be able to do the things I did before my A-fib episodes. The medication keeps my heart rate too low.

No reason to want to know anything in the future. I’ll take things as they come.

I still dream of traveling. Have done some but want to do more.

Greatest accomplishment is raising two adults that are accomplished, responsible adults.

Trust in a friendship is valued.

Our honeymoon in Jamaica.

Watching my wife waste away in hospice.

If I had a year left; road-trip!

Being the go to person.

Accepting me as I am, listening to me, great cook, loves life and a perfect sex partner.

My siblings, cousins and extended family are real close. From a lot of things I read, yes a very happy childhood.

My mother was my guide in me becoming a caring person.

No longer “we” but I feel satisfied, calm and content.

Mentioned this the other day; my weirdness.

Everything, no secrets.

Same as the answer above plus caring, unselfish and damn sexy!

Getting caught skinny dipping at a five star resort.

Last cry was when my wife asked to be taken off of antibiotics.
By myself, the night she passed.

My partner was a good conversationalist.

Mental health. Easy to joke about without knowing how the other person truly feels.

My laptop. All bank records, investments etc.

My wife’s was the worst. Any of my children or grandchildren would be next.

That is a hard one as I can’t think of a personal problem and don’t have a partner.

Jesus...I need a nap after this.

Given the choice of anyone in the world, whom would you want as a dinner guest?

**My Grandfather who passed away in 1985.

Would you like to be famous? In what way?

**No.

Before making a telephone call, do you ever rehearse what you are going to say? Why?

**It depends entirely on the situation. Generally no.

What would constitute a "perfect" day for you?

**A day in the woods, cutting firewood and getting a full dumptruck home.

When did you last sing to yourself? To someone else?

**Generally with the radio on the way home. I sang to my granddaughter a silly song from my youth over the phone.

If you were able to live to the age of 90 and retain either the mind or body of a 30-year-old for the last 60 years of your life, which would you want?

**I'll stick with what I have now. Not likely to live to be 90 (although family history might get me close)

Do you have a secret hunch about how you will die?

**Based on everything I have done and been exposed to over my life? Cancer.

Name three things you and your partner appear to have in common.

**Not much anymore other than quiet nights at home.

For what in your life do you feel most grateful?

**My granddaughter, but a second place finisher would be that I have made every choice myself and never had anything handed to me.

If you could change anything about the way you were raised, what would it be?

**Nothing

Take four minutes and tell your partner your life story in as much detail as possible.

**No pot to piss in. Barely a window to throw it out of. Work Hard. No handouts. Satisfied. That's all you need to know.

If you could wake up tomorrow having gained any one quality or ability, what would it be?

**The ability to not worry.

If a crystal ball could tell you the truth about yourself, your life, the future, or anything else, what would you want to know?

**It's all been a suprise thus far, why change it now?

Is there something that you've dreamed of doing for a long time? Why haven't you done it?

**Time, Money and common sense.

What is the greatest accomplishment of your life?

**Getting where I am with zero help. Sure moral support, but I am here because of me. No one else, No entity. Of course that can be considered a double edged sword.

What do you value most in a friendship?

**Loyalty

What is your most treasured memory?

**I have too many to list

What is your most terrible memory?

If you knew that in one year you would die suddenly, would you change anything about the way you are now living? Why?

**No. I won't say I am ready, because no one is, but I am prepared.

What does friendship mean to you?

**knowing when they are needed and when they are not.

What roles do love and affection play in your life?

**It is incredibly important and unfortunately largely absent.

Alternate sharing something you consider a positive characteristic of your partner.
Share a total of five items.

**

How close and warm is your family? Do you feel your childhood was happier than most other people's?

** we were close, but warm is not necessarily the right description.

How do you feel about your relationship with your mother?

** I think about and miss her every day and will until I die.

Make three true "we" statements each. For instance, "We are both in this room feeling..."

** I have no idea where to go with this...

Complete this sentence: "I wish I had someone with whom I could share..."

** closer affection

If you were going to become a close friend with your partner, please share what would be important for them to know.

Tell your partner what you like about them; be very honest this time, saying things that you might not say to someone you've just met.

Share an embarrassing moment in your life.

** too many to list. Funniest moment? During a Dr exam with a very pretty doctor while she was doing the hernia check and was crouched down I joked that in my younger days this would have been considered a good time. She warned me about making such a joke just before she was going to do the prostate check.

When did you last cry in front of another person? By yourself?

**probably with one of my best friends when their son was killed. It has been years.

Tell your partner something that you like about them already.

What, if anything, is too serious to be joked about?

**nothing is sacred with the exception of someone else's misery.

If you were to die this evening with no opportunity to communicate with anyone, what would you most regret not having told someone? Why haven't you told them yet?

**I have a clear conscience.

Your house, containing everything you own, catches fire. After saving your loved ones and pets, you have time to safely make a final dash to save any one item. What would it be? Why?

** probably the binder that contains my grandfather's love letters to my grandmother in the 30's.

Of all the people in your family, whose death would you find most disturbing? Why?

** death is inevitable, but the loss of a child would be horrific. this is honestly not even a question that should be asked of someone.

Share a personal problem and ask your partner's advice on how they might handle it. Then, ask your partner to reflect on how you seem to be feeling about the problem you have chosen.

Here you go:

All the world leaders!

No, however, if so than someone known for his Justice,
compassion and generosity.

Not always, a few handful of times. So that I can speak with confidence without omitting words.

A few good deeds, making people laugh/smile, solve others problems, spend time with my kids and learn something new, specially from elders.

Day before yesterday and years ago..

Mind!

Do you have a secret hunch about how you will die?

No.

N/A

My health, opportunities to do good, then my parents and then kids.

Wish could spend more time with my mom.

N/A

What is running in others heart and mind!

Did my dad make that one mistake which took his life?

Yes, life has not worked out that way…and I probably did not pursue it in the right way.

Becoming a good father.

Loyalty/Trustworthiness

With my dad, when I said my last good bye to him, kissed and hugged him..

I missed his funeral/The pain and suffering with one of partners, walking on egg shells.

Yes, spend more time with loved ones than working.

I can see real me in it, does not hide my flaws and goodness, no sugar coating to help me strive to be a better person, unwavering support while refusing to accept my wrong.

It drives my passion towards my kids, my work , my community and my goals.

Alternate sharing something you consider a positive characteristic of your partner.

NA.

An ex..

Extremely loyal, supper smart, dedicated, soft/kind hearted, and too loving.

Very warm and pretty close, 50/50

Great! She has made so many sacrifices for me, I could never repay her for those. I love her to death.

Make three true "we" statements each. For instance, "We are both in this room feeling..."

Complete this sentence: "I wish I had someone with whom I could share...my life with, who understood me, my inner, without pass judgments, and then supported me.
I do not like drama, say what you mean, and If I do not understand, do not assume why, seek to understand, do not play games. I do not like gossip, I do like stagnant life, I love to travel, and it can happen anytime, so I am very spontaneous. I am a foodie, I love arts and love admiring old buildings and architecture, I love to laugh, I am prankster/ joker, in the most serious situation I could pull a practical joke so do not get annoyed. I love all my friends and family, so learn to be part of us, not part of one.. if you do not like one or they do not like you does not mean I have to say good by to them. Lean to co-exist.

N/A

Share an embarrassing moment in your life.
Too many to share. lol lol

Few weeks ago, by myself.

N/A

Someones' life and death issue, kids illness, atrocities and injustice in this world.

What they did to me and my loved ones did come back to haunt, Karma was my biggest revenge, and they still did not realize…what a shame,

My kids and parents pictures/my Govt IDs, so life can restart without hiccups.

My dad…very long and person story. But it hit me hardest.
Imaginary partner, I want to buy this business, however, it may mean taking on large loans against the house/property, this is my dream business, there is a 20 % chance it may not survive and or make it and this been really bothering me.

FoxyQueen · 51-55, F
@FieldMarshal Me too
FieldMarshal · 46-50, M
@FoxyQueen I am just too busy and focused on goals and kids..
This sounds fun.

1. I can think of several people I'd want as a dinner guest but right now I'd have to choose from a sports figure, a political leader, a billionaire, a homeless person, a military veteran, so on and so forth.
2. I don't think I would want to be famous unless I could use my fame to help others.
3. I usually know what I'm going to say before making a phone call though there's no need to rehearse.
4. A "perfect" day for me consists of exercising, reading, eating, physical attention, and quiet time.
5. The last time I sang to myself was, not surprisingly, in the shower. I've never sung to someone else.
6. If I live to be 90 I would rather have the mind of a 30-year-old instead of the body. That's a complete turnaround of thought from when I was 30.
7. I don't think about how I will die.
8. I don't currently have a partner. My last girlfriend and I had several things in common.
9. I feel grateful for everyday.
10. If I could change something about the way I was raised it would be almost everything about the way I was raised.
11. I don't currently have a partner otherwise I'd take four minutes to tell her.
12. If I could wake up tomorrow with a gained ability I'd would like for it the ability to let people know they are worthy of love and respect.
13. I don't think a crystal ball could tell me anymore about me than I already know.
14. I haven't dreamed of doing anything. I'm doing a lot now.
15. So far the greatest accomplishment in my life is getting over the destructive behavior caused by the anger and bitterness of my childhood.
16. I value trust in a friendship.
17. Three "we" statements: 1. We are all on this planet. 2. We all deserve to live well. 3. We all deserve love and respect.
18. "I wish I had someone with whom I could share days and nights."
19. My future partner should know that I will give you the benefit of the doubt. It is up to you to lose my trust and respect.
20. I don't have a partner.
21. An embarrassing moment in my life (so far) was when I was handed my high school diploma I was so nervous I kissed the principal. In front of everybody. He was startled.
22. The last time I cried in front of another person was at my grandmother's funeral. By myself? I saw a child die after being thrown from a car during a crash. I held back the tears until I got home.
23. I don't have a partner.
24. I don't joke about physical abuse of pets, women, and/or children. I don't joke about sexual abuse.
25. If I were to die tonight I would have no regrets about not saying anything to anyone.
26. The last dash in a house fire would be to save any photographs.
27. My grandmother's death hit me hard.
28. I don't have a partner.

That appears to be the list.

@onrealityofdreams Thank you! ❤
@FoxyQueen You're welcome!
I didn't have an answer for all, but here we go:

Would you like to be famous? In what way?
No, I like my privacy. Being SW famous is enough for me.

Before making a telephone call, do you ever rehearse what you are going to say? Why?
Of course! How else am I going to get an appointment or something?

What would constitute a "perfect" day for you?
A nice meal, a drink and lots of cuddling.

When did you last sing to yourself? To someone else?
To myself every day. To others hardly ever. (They tend not to like it.)

If you were able to live to the age of 90 and retain either the mind or body of a 30-year-old for the last 60 years of your life, which would you want?
Definitely my body. My mind is supposed to evolve.

Do you have a secret hunch about how you will die?
Statistically it's most likely to be heart failure or cancer.

For what in your life do you feel most grateful?
My empathy.

If you could change anything about the way you were raised, what would it be?
Not receiving so much pressure to eat, or in hindsight overeat.

Take four minutes and tell your partner your life story in as much detail as possible.
There is no way I can do that in four minutes. I recently wrote a ten minute presentation about that, which barely scraped the surface.

If you could wake up tomorrow having gained any one quality or ability, what would it be?
The ability to manipulate matter on a molecular level.

What is the greatest accomplishment of your life?
Surviving 😅

What do you value most in a friendship?
Respect and understanding

If you knew that in one year you would die suddenly, would you change anything about the way you are now living? Why?
I would stop taking the monetary costs into account when deciding to do anything.

What roles do love and affection play in your life?
They have been missing in action for most of it.

How close and warm is your family? Do you feel your childhood was happier than most other people's?
🤣 No.

How do you feel about your relationship with your mother?
That was pretty good while she was alive, although she should have stood up against my dad more.

Complete this sentence: "I wish I had someone with whom I could share..."
everything.

When did you last cry in front of another person? By yourself?
By myself when my sister's cat was euthanized. In front of others, I think at the last funeral I went to.

What, if anything, is too serious to be joked about?
Absolutely nothing. There may be a wrong time for jokes about some topics, but something you can't ridicule becomes dangerously powerful.

Your house, containing everything you own, catches fire. After saving your loved ones and pets, you have time to safely make a final dash to save any one item. What would it be? Why?
My wallet. Getting a new ID without an ID is a pain.

Of all the people in your family, whose death would you find most disturbing? Why?
My sister. I don't care all that much about any of the others.
FoxyQueen · 51-55, F
@NerdyPotato Thank you!

And yeah, not having an ID is like simply no longer existing!
@FoxyQueen I also briefly considered photos, but those of the last 25 years are all in the cloud and my childhood ones are spread across 10 albums. If I can only take one item, I'll still lose 90% of my childhood photos and saving those from a few particular years won't make a whole lot of difference.
I'll have to get back to you on this one.
Wiseacre · F
@NerdyPotato but u won’t!
@Wiseacre I will when I find a notification when I'm in a position to answer thoroughly 😅

calicuz · 56-60, M
1: Jesus (The man, not the god)

2: Yes, for making sure no child goes to bed hungry ever again.

3: Yes, I don't want to sound like an idiot.

4: No work, and a relaxing day at home.

5: There's always a song in my head.

6: 30 year old body? 40 year old body would be ideal for me, with the wisdom of a 90 year old.
SageWanderer · 70-79, M
I’ll get back to you on this one, when I have more free time.
