I never ever do this, but I just gave myself the day off from work.

Half not feeling great. Half wanting to chill in bed and watch Netflix docs for the rest of the day while my comforting pooch lays across my legs.

And no one is upset about it. Not my boss. Not even the people pleaser that still resides a little bit within me.

It’s the day I need and I’m finally okay with taking it.
