A chick flick.
A boyfriend pillow. (It’s actually a maternity pillow but it still wraps around me like a boyfriend would.)
A strawberry lemonade.
And snacky snacks for dinner.

That little slice of Perfect
But not quite like perfection
Inside a heart that stops and starts
Just a thing that’s worth a mention
There in the soul of self control
With a gauge of introspection

Finding all the light that dawns
Into my heart and soul
And giving that light back to the world
In a manner that’s controlled
Satisfaction in the thought
That there’s much more to this world

Inside myself I find the path
That leads to my tomorrows
Looking back upon the past
I cast off all my sorrows
Knowing that we all live on
Time that’s simply borrowed

And here inside this light I feel
I know that I’m worthwhile
Of each and every dream I’ve dreamt
As I’ve crossed these endless miles
And when tomorrow comes my way
I’ll greet it with a smile.
