@PerfectionOfTheHeart My sons know the look .. actually respond with that via text at times. Its amazing how much smarter they think I am with them at 23/25 yrs old vs when they were 14/16.

@BrandNewMan Mine feel the same about me. I wasn’t as in tune with the ways of life and existence back then.

@PerfectionOfTheHeart I was 36 when oldest was born .. 50 in his early teens .. had lived a bit already. They grudgingly admit now that some of what I tried to instill in them wasn't so dumb after all.

@BrandNewMan I’m envious of that. I was 21 when my oldest was born and still had so much growing up to do. I didn’t acquire the actual knowledge needed to be successful in life until I was in my 40’s and had a better idea of who I was and how the world truly worked.

@PerfectionOfTheHeart We do the best we can and there are pros / cons to both ages. Would have liked to have been a bit younger, better able to keep up with them in some things in their teens to now.
