The thing is, when the Americans showed up during the War of 1812 in Canada, they unsuccessfully invaded Canada 7 times, yet still lost hands down.

The Americans had 10-times the military hardware the Brits had and also had 10-times the manpower the Brits had, yet the US got their asses kicked 7 times during those attempted annexations.

From the War of 1812 onward for the next 214 years to the present day, the US military has lost every single war it ever STARTED and has only been successful at winning 61% of any war it joined that some other country had started.
