How about you?

Things I stopped doing to gain peace in my life.

1) Arguing with people.
2) Wasting energy on one-sided relationships.
3) Overcommiting my time when I didn't have the energy.
4) Accepting and excusing toxic behaviour because that was more comfortable than change.
5) Discarding my boundaries to fit (uncomfortably) in other people's lives.
6) Pretending to be happy when I was hurting.
7) Overthinking about my past and things I cannot change.
8) Holding onto people I've outgrown because of 'time invested'
9) Waiting for external validation to boost my confidence.
10)Abandoning myself, my truth, and my integrity to 'fit in'.
A lot of these, yes. Good for you. I know most of this is hard to start. 🫂

And it’s always a nice surprise when someone respects a boundary you’ve set. It’s beautiful because so many people won’t.
