@MyNameIsHurl People who hurt children should be removed from society permanently, i'm all with you there. My theological idea of lovingkindness is not to be confused with endless immediate mercy and pacifism in the face of those who wish to harm me or any innocence. It comes from the understanding that we live in a non-dual universe, and that we are all of the clear light nature, thus praying for their ultimate liberation is the way. Yes, even people who hurt the innocent I pray that they eventually see the light.. but if I get my hands on pedos, they will hopefully see the light in their next life after I clear some of their negative karma.
