I think I am getting more kind with age, not sure if it is the years or the miles that have made the difference. I think living through the difficulties makes being more kind a little easier and being established in my career and financially allows more kindness and generosity.
Some things if is more difficult to jump into being kind over based on my experience, sometimes I didn't need kindness, I needed a kick in the slats to get me working on improving my own lot. Some of the people who thought they were being kind, cutting me a break, were enabling me more than helping me. So, when I see the guy that I think needs a kick in the slats, I really have to do some soul searching before I go into kindness mode.
