Were you more kind when you were younger than you are now? Or are you getting more kind with age?

I'd say I've always been this way, but maybe age has made me more kind because I know what it's like to need kindness and not receive it.

@SlippingAway It is sad any of us go through that. Needing kindness and not receiving it can do one of two things... give you understanding or make you cold. I'm glad, if you had to go through it, that it had a positive effect for you.
