When my sons' mom decided she need to find herself and ran out to California my son said, "Well dad, I guess youre just going to have to find yourself another women." I has to laugh but it kind of shocked me too as it indicated to me tgat her lack of attention to him had created a negative impression of women. One of his friends at daycare was divorced so i let him hang out with them. She was a nurse so her son would come over to our place too when she was busy. He learned piano at my place and eventually majored in music. We'd also go camping together. She was dating the school librarian so I t never went further than that but i often wish it had. But at the time I wasn't looking for a relationship for me.

I suppose not all children are tiny mutant monsters. *grudgingly admits while glaring at my newly teenage nephew*
