I Want to Live a Happier and More Positive Life

What are some things you do to fight negative thinking.

Sometimes I just make myself be mad or sad or let myself be bitter for 20 minutes alone somewhere because something upset me...rather then internalize it and beat myself up via negative thinking...because sometimes the problem really is other people being in general crappy because they are feeling bitter, etc.

or at least that's how I'm dealing with my own emotions tonight after getting back from a family Easter get together and feeling unappreciated, a little bitter, and a little bit lonely .

Afterwards I can usually see whatever the problem was more clearly...and I can either choose to let it go or address the issue, or make a plan to do or say something else if it happens again, idk.
