I Am Trying to Find Happiness

Alfred Lord Tennyson wrote in the poem In Memoriam:27, 1850:
'Tis better to have loved and lost
Than never to have loved at all.
Would you agree with him based on your experience of lost love?

I have experienced enough to know that love is not real or a privelige denied to some.

love is not real? sounds like the sting of loss is still palpable. I am madly in love with my husband of 14 years...seems like we just got married. but we work to make sure that happens. I hope you heal and feel better

Well maybe it's a privelige denied to me.

I'm sorry, there are many women out there, feeling just as you do...wanting someone just like you, wanting to be loved and to be able to love in return. Don't be bitter, just start trying to improve yourself in some area that you feel is deficient. Women like men who are in shape and dress nice and make them laugh. I workout all the time to make sure I am the best I can be for my husband...he still loves me, in spite of my paranoia

Yeah I know what I gotta do. But it's hard to get hope back again after wasting nearly a decade along with the last of my youth, good looks and what heart I have left worth of 2 failed relationships.

Or maybe I'm just incapable of being loved for who I am because even I find that hard myself lol.

pooey, stop being so down on your self and bitter, you are going to be fine. Every journey in life begins with the first step, so get steppin!
