I Am Trying to Find Happiness

Alfred Lord Tennyson wrote in the poem In Memoriam:27, 1850:
'Tis better to have loved and lost
Than never to have loved at all.
Would you agree with him based on your experience of lost love?

Nope, a couple I wish I never met

Hello Squizz5. There's one or two I wish I'd never met as well, but they're not on my list of lost loves. They're on my list of lost weekends. It actually takes a bit longer than a weekend to take stock of a situation like that and realise that the relationship has more negative features than positive ones but it's worth the work even if you end up looking and feeling like a bit of a fool. The truth hurts but it also heals.

Mine were longer than weekends, The lesson is be careful who you fall for, the real person or the actor

Hi again Squizz5. You can travel a long way in the wrong direction after a single wrong turn. I agree it's important to be careful who you fall for. The most important ingredient is respect.

Hi there, Yes, respect and integrity isn't too much to ask for I don't think, but becoming scarcer these days, well in my experience anyway, but I keep lining up 🙂
