Christmas of '91. Got my very first full drum kit. I was 10 years old and played them for 5 years when I upgraded to a new set of Pearl drums. I've still got both kits locked up in storage.

Baptist church camps and getting serious with competing in chess during Jr. High and winning my first blindfold game.
