It was a failing thermostat and my alternator was coming apart
I’m just glad I’m getting this over with.

Had that happen a few times with a ford I had. Thankfully I got rid of it.

@Cremosa It was a ford exploder. A broken alternator is easier to fix than a thermostat. One shuts the lights off and the other makes the car go boom.
