What have you got to be thankful for?

Sometimes it’s hard to be thankful. I tend to think about negative things. That is how our brains are wired. It takes effort to focus on the positive. I have a lot to be thankful for even when it takes all my energy to post this. The support I got from people here on SW touched my heart. God has blessed me so much. How can I not be thankful? How about you?

I’ve lived 2 years longer than I thought I would after being diagnosed with cancer. We also were in a car accident a couple months later that totaled both cars and survived that. It kind of made me put things in perspective then, we both could have died that day. I take it one day at a time. Thankful for all the prayers and help that I’ve been offered (and accepted)…thankful that Ray and his grandson are so good to help with whatever I need help with. We have roof over our head, food in the pantry and feel like God is watching over us.
