For the responders to my post this morning, I give you all a sincere and wonderfully heart felt thank you!

@Musicman Thank you! God chased me back inside after an hour with a thunderstorm and down pour!

@Musicman God knows what is best and I was not going to test his infinite wisdom. Tried that twice in the past trying to get a dog into the house during a lightning storm and trying to get a pony out of a pasture and into a barn.

Lighting struck a transformer a hundred feet away from me and splintered off around the pole arcing in the ground behind my Rottweiler and several feet between the Rottie and I closer to me. I felt the electricity enter my finger I had extended closest to the dog and felt it go up my arm and through my body. Now with that being my experience, I knew my Rottie felt it enter his nubbed tail and through him as his bottom dropped and he looked at me like I had just violated him. We both ran to the house, I beat him to the house too. First time ever out running a dog. No adverse effects and oddly enough though feeling weird for two weeks I was stronger working out by 20 to 50 pounds and all aches and pains disappeared.

The pony was way in front of me running in the pasture when lightning struck a metal fence post/T-post about 100 yards or so from us. I felt a mass of static electricity that made me to outrun the Pony back to the barn.

So, when God let it rumble, I make no more fumbles and head inside!

@WillaKissing Lol!!! Good for you! Nothing like having the fear of God in you to outrun a dog and pony. 😁 Any plans for today?

@Musicman Just a small patch of mowing, maybe fishing my pond depending on how hot/humid it gets, and going out later this evening as Willa.

@Musicman I have a sequin dress a satin dress and a metallic dress calling my name, and I will let the late evening temps dictate my choices.
