What Do You have to be Grateful For?

A nice partner
A good job
A wonderful holiday in a few months
Nice friends

I was given a new managerial role this year and we smashed all our targets and made profit all year long. We worked really hard for it so I’m super proud of us all hopefully we’ll continue on In 2024 and I get a nice bonus if we make money

I'm grateful for my family
All of them are in good health
Thats all that matters to me

I have seen upd and downs in my life. And I believe I have navigated through those phases quite well. However if I separate out my career successes I realise that I have a lot to improve on myself. I have been through failed relationships and for the worst part during the troubled phases in my relationships I never found fault in myself. I wanted the world around me to change. I have been going through a constant struggle in my attempt of self improvement. It's only recently that I have identified my potential flaws where I am not able to connect deeply with the people in my life. I went spiritual and being a Hindu I have visited many temples and follewed the religious rituals dedicatedly. One year back one of my friends introduced me to Jesus and the Bible. For last 9 months I have been consistently reading the Bible and I believe following the life of Jesus Christ has had a positive impact in my life. So if I have to be grateful for, there are many things I can choose from. However in 2023 it has to be that friend who introduced me to Jesus's love and above all God Himself.

A loving wife and a beautiful adopted daughter. We are looking forward to getting to know her better and to become better parents in the next few months.

Good health and a nice warm home.

Being able to stay in the hospital room with him during his convalescence. The hospital library. Wonderful friends and family who call, send cards, flowers and care packages and even one who brought out some needed things from home. It's been a rough few months and we still have a long way to go but I am grateful for many things.

I have every minute I have to live to be grateful for. There are some planned events, some will be surprises, some will even be lessons and I am grateful for the strength I have to face those.

Many things but I'm glad to be moving on to a new year
