My Gratitude Journal - Day 6

I am very grateful today, that:

1. my family and I had free time to sit together, to have tea and chat relaxingly. Time is precious, and free time is a luxury.
2. my procrastination has always given my brain more time to spring up with ideas so that i would make fewer mistakes, although it has also tortured me a lot.
3. I browsed randomly on the internet and found a job that matched with me very well tonight. I will prepare the documents and apply for it tomorrow.

Thank god these have happened 🙏😊

Oh wow! I forgot to mention that I believe God has blessed you and your efforts and has rewarded you with this new found job that matches with you. I pray you get it.

Procrastination can be very tormenting, yes. I've come a long way on that and though I have to force myself sometimes as sometimes I feel overwhelmed with things I have to do, I still force myself to do it and then I feel so wonderful once I have accomplished it. It really develops self-confidence and lets you know that all things we can do through Christ, who strengthens us. Right now I'm feeling pretty overwhelmed with all I have to do because I got behind with my health, yet I am making myself do them anyway and that's not so easy, but at least I'm doing it, though the going is slow and I'm reaping great benefits and feel so happy about that. Dedication and perseverance and prayer is the key. We can do more than we think we can. Nothing says it has to be all done in one shot but we can take baby steps and each day you work on that project that seems overwhelming and you see it go down little by little as you get things done and work on it. Next thing you know, it's done and you feel like a million bucks. Hahaha so I am working on the same thing my dear. I'm feeling really good about it because I have accomplished so much. I asked God to help me and he did and he is.

I cannot express how wonderful this is that you're keeping a journal A gratitude Journal at that. It's a wonderful idea and not only that it blesses you and it blesses God. I really congratulate you on this. What a positive, lovely thing to do. I know God will bless you for it and he already is. You're a good example to others here on how one could either be hateful or grateful but you can't be both at the same time. Haha Everything changes when you're grateful and thankful for everything God has given you. God bless you!

@Sssslm Yes, my dear, I was thinking the same thing! My goodness it's been so long and I do miss you. When I saw your name again I thought wow it's been so long since I have talked to this great lady. Wow. I have been away as I was very ill but I'm back now and better than ever healthwise and God is really helping me get well. Truly is a miracle how he is helping me. And I was so happy to see your post. I'm so happy you're back. And yes, wonderful things DO happen when you are grateful. Your whole life changes for the better. God sends his wonderful spirit of peace and joy. I'm so happy to see you again and especially that you're doing so well. Attitude means everything. It really is true and I have found this for myself many times, that if you want your life to change, it is necessary to change your mind. You have done a really great job. Congratulations! You are a light to all.
