Feeling like the black sheep [I Am A Grateful Memeber Of Alanon]

I love my home group and that they're all so positive, but yet they're all so positive. I'm feeling like I can't relate at times to an almost Pollyanna atmosphere. I hope I get to where everyone else is.

Being vulneerable... is the most important step towards healing And allows others to connect with you on a deeper level. It also helps you to see other from their deepest selves. You get to decide just how considerate they are. If and when others don鈥檛 share themselves, they too are coping with their own insecurity@abooklover

@abooklover I understand what you are saying to Mindful. I can't relate to people in the support-group self-help mode. Mutual back patting always alienates me further and beggs the need for true communication...
