Why do we feel satisfied and happy after doing an act of kindness?

Is it that healthy amount of narcissism that lies inside us? I just don't understand whyyyyyy we feel the things we feel.

@SW-User OMG yes. My sister believes i should try a plant. Because the last time I kept a plant it died. So she doesn't trust me with cats. 😶
