Mother took me on "date night" as a kid getting dressed up, opening the car door, the restaurant door, pulling the chair out and pushing it back in for her, standing when she stood and so on, but years later I realized she was teaching me proper etiquette and manners and how to treat a woman. That's just one of many things she passed on to me.
