I know its a world of free speech but like you i dont understand why many people find the need to use that freedom to be disrespectful and basically nasty to someone they dont even know.. I was always taught...... If you cant say anything nice its better to say nothing....

Some people think love is hate and hate I'd love though.
I remember a 16 year old girl from several years ago that was heavily abused. As little more than a toddler her dad would slam her face repeatedly into the floor as he told her he loved her. She would then in turn show her dolls love by pounding them into the floor as well.
This helped me realize that love does not come natural but is a taught behaviour that can be twisted and broken.
And this is why I think when some people show hate, trolling, bullying and general disrespect, that IS what they think love, respect and positivity is.
