I’m going to TRY to make this short and sweet so I can read my book. We’ll see how I do with that 😂
My happy, grateful, happinesses of the day aaaarrrrre…..
1. My in-laws wanted to take my kiddo and her cousins to the pool with them today. Not gonna lie, I had a hard time agreeing, but they had so much fun!
2. I got kid-free shopping time! I mean, I had to shop for other people, but it was still kinda nice. I’m mostly just happy I managed to get gifts for all 4 people in under 2 hours! Lol
3. Jamming out to great music alone made me very happy
4. Some quality time with my husband. We even had some pretty good laughs together
5. Nice hang out with the neighbors this evening
6. My BIL and SIL and their kids came over and we had a great time
7. I got to have some ‘happy time’ for myself and it was very happy indeed. Lol
8. Beautiful weather
9. Some really great laughs with my toddler this evening and playing parachute with a blanket and jumping under it. Loved seeing her happiness and joy
10. Felt much better today with all these hormones. Had a short fuse at times, but overall felt much more ‘me’
I’m feeling soooo immensely grateful in general tonight. My marriage my have had a lot of ups and downs, but we’ve been together 11 years and we’re doing really great right now…I’ve got the most amazing kid….terrific friends and family…I’m loving where we’re living and I’m just so blessed in so many ways. My IVF transfer should be in about 13 more days and I just can’t believe it’s coming up so quickly! I really need to cut out caffeine altogether.
I’ve been low -key freaking out as well though. A long distance friend told me she had a first date with someone. They insist on setting messages to delete after so many minutes and I can’t remember if it was after midnight or not their time. So, I’m not sure if they went on the date already or if it’s in a few hours. I asked…but haven’t heard from them. I haven’t heard from them at aaallll since yesterday. She’s seen none of my messages today….I’m hoping she’s just had a REALLY great first date. I’m sure I’ll hear from her tomorrow….I’m just worrying like a big ol’ mother hen over here though.
