Last Day to File 2025 Income Taxes

For those who have procrastinated in filing their income taxes, there is Still some Time Left.
If you wait until one minute until closing with a box full of receipts for itemized deduction filing, this is JUSTIFIABLE HOMICIDE!😵‍💫

I didn’t file taxes for three years. I e-filed last year and mailed out the two previous years now. I don’t have to worry because they owe me money.

The deadline only applies to those who will end up owing the government.
If you expect a return you have 3 years from today to file your return.

Anyone that’s filing today and mailing the return, you should take it directly to a post office before closing and ask the post master to stamp it in front of you. The postmark date is considered a valid filing date as you’ve handed it over to the government.
