@eyeno Okay, I just checked.... If you have any kind of complex tax situation, you must use a Windows PC or a Mac desktop computer to run income tax software.
But I have another question... why do you want to file your taxes online?
@swirlie thanks for the information. I've never done it before, and have always used a CPA with great results . They found all the up-to-date revisions as their always changing from year to year and always recieved a return.
My EX and I once debated as to why I used a CPA especially when I'd have to pay them at least a couple hundred VS doing it myself.
I explained to her, " these people do it for a living year- round and know what they can and cannot claim.
Needless to say we compared returns, hers a couple hundred, mine a couple thousand after paying the CPA.
After chatting with you, think I'll just use a CPA.
