I Don't Want My Daughter To Become A Stripper

I dont think strippers and onlyfans models are the greatest role models (nor empowering) for young women

Apparently this is offensive to say nowadays? 🤷‍♀️ if i was famous id be canceled
I agree. sex work should be dignified but objectifying ourselves and detaching emotionally from sex is far from empowering.
@PepsiColaP i COMPLETELY agree

Find myself in awe, pleasantly surprised, that you what wrote 👆🏻 is silly, snarky, sarcastic or such.

I don’t want my daughter to become a stripper either

Women love to flaunt the lifestyle on tiktok. No plan for the future, no retirement, no education no job security. Surrounded by alcohol, creepy perverts, drugs and women with serious psychological issues

Am I describing similar worlds 🤔🤣

Just a stack of $1’s. They always ones 😭
@DeluxedEdition you're completely right. Theres so many stories and reports of pornstars whove dealt with drug abuse, depression, other mental issues directly because of their profession
And to be fair that also had to do with how the porn industry was run and it was very corrupt and unhealthy, which isn't a problem with self work like onlyfans

But I've had many friends who've started only fans and did things like that when 18-20ish and really regretted it and struggled with it shortly afterwards.
And those problems with mental health may be higher when it's working for porn industries, but onlyfans can still do that to people too.

So i find it really wrong for things like tiktok to promote the idea that these 10-13 year old girls should do porn when they're older. They literally WANT them to, they're not even just saying it's an option, they're advertising it for young kids

And that's from the more moral standpoint against it
Even just personal preference, I'd rather my daughters not even if it wasn't potentially mentally damaging

And you listed the associations to that type of lifestyle perfectly
But Tiktok and Twitter would get offended if someone said that
@PetalsOfLilac And keep in mind the many pornstars who have committed suicide.
I thought this is normal. It's like saying you don't want your son becoming a fboy
@sexyjigsaw you would think so 😭
Like wow I'm sorry i wouldn't want my son jerking off for a bunch of people online to make money 🤷‍♀️ that doesn't seem controversial

But then the internet makes young girls believe doing the equivalent of that is the bravest, coolest, most respectable thing they can do when they get older
And saying it's not would trigger the internet 😭

Yes. But I think a lot of the "encouragement" is self-serving, from people who want to see more & more of a girl doing worse & worse things, until she's done EVERYthing, and then they move on to another "new"/newer girl.

Same Here!
I'd much rather My Daughter use Her Mind, get
through College with a Decent Useable Degree,
(paid for by Selling Her "Recently Worn Unwashed
Panties" for $50ea).

THEN she should quickly Marry some Smart and Rich AF Dude she Barely Loves!
There is nothing wrong with it, but nothing particularly good about it either, so it's a fair choice.

A shinobi knows the difference between honor and victory, and prefers the later.

Pariahs though those women may be, a lot of them are winning at life meanwhile a lot of the people criticizing them are losers by comparison 🤷🏽‍♂️

They aren't hoes; they're ninjas 🥷🏽

I agree with you @PetalsOfLilac
And you are entitled to your opinion without worry. Most everyone has a choice.
