One of the most over rated Christmas movie is "It's a Wonderful Life"

And every year networks shove it down our throats like it's the only Christmas movie ever made.

Why?

It's a Wonderful Life initially received mixed reviews and was unsuccessful at the box office, it became a classic Christmas film after it was put into the public domain, which allowed it to be broadcast without licensing or royalty fees.

Yet another example of how money and consumerism dictates how we perceive holidays.

Have you seen Harvey?

Try Stewart in The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance with John Wayne.

@therighttothink50 I have not seen Harvey in many years but I liked it. I thought Stewart was good in Philadelphia Story and Mr Smith Goes to Washington.

@therighttothink50 I just watched a Hedy Lamarr film ... it had an odd name? ... H. M. Pulham, Esq with Robert Young. She was so pretty!
