Lmao . Oh my fuck. I mean to be honest I believe in a higher power , not exactly a deity, just a greater force that set in motion events that created earth. But I don't like the idea of an afterlife and a god that sends people to eternal hell while granting the hypocrites and the ones that hide their mistakes behind their religion, eternal salvation. We either all deserve hell or all deserve heaven if that's the case.

It says we all deserve hell and then says that some of us deserve heaven. There's a lot of contradictions . The truth is hell isnt a punishment that fits anyone's crimes ... Except maybe the crimes of someone who is eternal . Or created immortality if you catch my drift . Punish the punisher ? But according to religion yes all of us deserve it because we all have done something "bad" but since god admits to things that make him less than perfect and since we ourselves are imperfect because of it ... We all deserve to be in heaven , same way he is .

I stay away from religion ... Like government , it tries to control the masses through brainwashing and fear. To be honest who cares about what happened in the past? This is about the present and future . The bible even says dont look back on the past or dwell on it yet makes people do that their entire lives by reading the bible ... Which is one reason they never move forward and stay in the past

how we came to believe in god. it brings together facts we can all agree on to make the case that we can be almost completely certain no gods exist.

Oh trust me I've already considered what things made people create the idea (whether its true or not doesn't even matter in this case just talking about how they got the idea) of there being a higher being that created everything .

I'm not creative enough to recommend it in enough different ways to make it not feel like spam.

One of them makes more sense than others . The idea that for something to exist ... It had to have been created . Because something as simple as a chair , had to have been created . It's not like the molecules collected and fused together in the wood to make a chair . So they thought something as complex as a human being had to have been created . But that higher force doesn't necessarily have to be embodied in a deity maybe in our case .

I love reading . Ew audiobooks ... They never go at your pace not to mention its annoying if they don't have a good voice lol.

I listen on my way to and from work and in the gym. I don't have right downtime to sit and read a whole book!

Oh sucks :/ but I can't stand to listen ... I doubt much of it would sink in
