Socialism and atheism are on the rise globally.

It's not really surprising if you think about how unfettered capitalists treat people. I mean like some of the stuff that's happened are almost comical levels of cartoon villain type stuff. Almost to the point that I'm like did you just take lessons from it when you were younger or what my dude?

I'm glad the younger generations seem to have more sense. I became more socialist leaning myself during the second Trump administration of 2025.

I'm not atheist but I'm secular in the fact that I support the separation of church and state. I don't really know what I was before or how I would define it even now but I know things aren't working and can't continue to work as they once were. It just can't sorry.

Between 18 to 29 years of age, 60% of people approve of socialism ☺

@SatanBurger I would like to say, what really is needed is closer to a democracy with real very strong individual rights, for only people.

The way socialism has been implemented has gotten far too capitalistic, because of the lack of constitutional rights.

We are not a democracy. We are a Republic.

The differences in all of that is vast.

Anytime a concept can have rights, like in the 10th and 14th amendments, you give away your individual rights to the concept.

You give away your rights under the electorial system. That is what a Republic is all about. You let someone else decide for you as well as a group of other people.

Taking rights away from the people is exactly why slavery is still in the constitution.

It never was removed. Just overridden.

Republics take away Rights from the people. And give those rights to the few.

Without a set of basic rights for only people, the government can eventually become capitalistic.

That applies to both socialism and communism.

I am too and I hope it continues.
(imho) .. I couldn't agree more with the video.

I would consider myself secular as well but have been the majority of my life. I never really could buy into the BS.

@Elisbch We need a change for sure

Atheism is on the rise and as an atheist I can tell you that's a very good thing, socialism is a good thing too if used properly of course. As an eclecticist I know all these various systems have useful qualities if one is allowed to pick and chose what to apply at a given time.

I'm in my sixties and shift further to the left as I age. The noisy Christian conservatives are killing that faith. Younger people look around and realize that minorities are just ordinary people who want to live their lives. They're also joining us in questioning most aspects of American capitalism.

@ElwoodBlues I bet the two of you are both great a family get togethers. I bet you could turn a 6th birthday into a college debate.

I’m sure once you used to be real people. Before you become politics bots.

You can shout about socialism all you like, it won’t cover up the gaps in reality. See you after the holidays. I hope socialist Santa is feeling giving. Capitalist Coca Cola Santa definitely is.

@CGS1984 I'm laughing at you because global trends of socialism shouldn't be this triggering to you and two, you basically just put an irrelevant poll up because you know I'm pro trans rights and just want to be petty.

Lol you're so mad right now 😭😆
