What's tearing the US apart is conservatives who keep swallowing the lies of a con man and who get so offended when you point that out!

@ElwoodBlues That's imo to simple... these people were already groomed for the message partially due to a culture soaked in far-right ideas. And a network of snake-oil peddlers. Like: preachers dealing in politics, schmittian politicians, loads of far-right pundits on TV, internet and Talk-Radio, ... etc

Trump just tapped into that zeitgeist.
