@Gloomy Lenin, Trotsky, Castro, and Guevara were all Tankies. They weren't nearly as bad as Stalin or Mao, but they were still Authoritarians. And Authoritarianism is bad even if you have a good dictator.
@Gloomy I thought you agreed that real Socialism requires Democracy. Plenty of the people on that list were good thinkers, but that alone didn't make them Socialists.
Authoritarianism isn't always immediately bad, it is possible to have a good dictator. However, eventually everyone has to retire, and the dictator's replacement could always be really bad. Lenin greatly improved life in Russia, but he was replaced with Stalin. And because the Soviet Union was authoritarian, the common people had no way to reign Stalin in or vote him out. This is why Authoritarianism as a system is always bad, even if the current government is good. It gives all of the power to the government, leaving the workers to just hope that the people in power do the right thing.
All Authoritarianism is right-wing. There are differences between Tankies, Fascists, Nazis, Theocrats, but it's usually just about imagery. The point of the term, Red Fascism, is to point out when a so-called Leftist is really just doing Fascism with left-wing imagery.
@BritishFailedAesthetic Well like I said, I don't think you really believe in the Nazi stuff that you post. You just do it to OWN THE LIBS. You probably don't care that much about politics or society either way, but repeating right-wing propaganda gets you attention.
@BritishFailedAesthetic The Cultural Marxism conspiracy theory. You know that theory was invented by the original Nazis and it was about the Jews. But you don't want to be that edgy. That's a bit more edgy than you're willing to defend. So instead, you say the Marxists that are secretly controlling the world aren't Jewish, they're just rich people of various ethnicities. If you really believed in the theory, you'd repeat it as it was originally said. But you know it's bullshit, you know there are no Marxists controlling Hollywood or western academia.
@BritishFailedAesthetic You're literally taking a story and then slightly changing it to be less offensive. If you believe this story is real, why would you change any part of it?
@Gloomy Look it's blindingly obvious to centrists and right wingers what schools are pushing- it is not a Nazi idea 🙄
This is from the link Bohemian sent me - he clearly doesn't read his sources😂
Although similarities with the Nazi propaganda term "Cultural Bolshevism" have been noted, the contemporary conspiracy theory originated in the United States during the 1990s
If I were a Nazi I'd be advocating genocide against non whites as a solution to the problem 🙄
@BritishFailedAesthetic First of all, Nazism came about in the 1930s. The American version of the conspiracy from the 1990s is based on the Nazi version, just slightly changed to fit a more modern time.
Secondly, the fact that you are preaching the conspiracy, but leaving out the most controversial part, proves what I'm saying. You don't have any principles, you're just a nihilistic troll.
@Gloomy Not really Marxism per se just some crazy ideology- not all issues are bad to talk about- telling kids about racial inequality and teaching kids about disabilities is great..... but other ideology being pushed is batshit crazy.
@BritishFailedAesthetic You told me a bunch of times that I was just repeating what my "Marxist professors" told me. But now it's, uhhhhhhhhh well, "not really Marxism per se." You know that you can't actually argue that it's Marxism, because you don't know what Marxism is. So now you're claiming it's just some other ideology, which you'll still claim is doing all of the things the Nazis said that the Marxists were doing.
