What has one got to with the other. I don't celebrate secular holidays. I do take the day off.only because it is mandated by the government. I don't celebrate the forced poverty of socialism.
@hippyjoe1955
What has one got to with the other.
You have no clue, do you??
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@ElwoodBlues so explain how labor day has reduced poverty.
@hippyjoe1955 See https://journals.sagepub.com/doi/abs/10.1177/00197939211014855

@ElwoodBlues so you don't understand inflation.
@hippyjoe1955 So you don't understand poverty.

Oh, wait, you do understand poverty of the intellect because you see it every time you look in the mirror, LOL!!!
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@ElwoodBlues yeah I do.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
You don't understand inflation. Increasing wages without increasing production is inflation
@hippyjoe1955 You don't understand productivity either!!

Guitarman123 · 31-35, M
@hippyjoe1955 socialists are pro workers and them owning the means of production. It's pretty basic
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@Guitarman123 too funny. Socialists think the government know better than they how to manage their lives
Guitarman123 · 31-35, M
@hippyjoe1955 socialists advocate for workers owning the means of production and many want the government abolished anarchists are the prime example
@Guitarman123 The mind reader at work. Too funny!

@hippyjoe1955 Dude, the data clearly show that workers stopped getting pay increases proportionate with their increased productivity by 1980.

This was an era when government thought business owners and markets knew best and government was happy to watch 90% of our manufacturing jobs get off-shored. We are now clearly aware of how damaging that transformation has been to our society. No, business didn't know better.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@ElwoodBlues Dude so you have no idea that a pay raise without an increase in productivity is simply inflation. Too Funny!!!!
@hippyjoe1955 So you STILL don't understand productivity!

hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@ElwoodBlues So if a guy builds on widget an hour. His boss sells that widget for $20.00 and pays the guy $15.00. The boss raises the wage to $20.00 and sells it for $25.00. There are no more widgets being produced. Simply the cost of the widget went up. That is inflation. There is no more value being produced. The same widget just higher cost. That is inflation. So if a guy is given the job and technology to produce 2 widgets and hour and gets a raise so the cost of the widget does not go up is an increase in production. You and your silly etc a sketches. No wonder you won a Darwin.
@hippyjoe1955 So you can't read a graph either, LOL!!!

The guy is building widgets 3.5X faster, but his pay only went up by a factor of 2.1. That's the reality. It's in the graph. All the numbers are right there in the graph. Too bad you can't understand it, LOL!!!
Wiseacre · F
@Guitarman123 true, very true!
Guitarman123 · 31-35, M
@Wiseacre exactly, it's not difficult to find this out but it would destroy certain buffoons narrative
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@ElwoodBlues productivity is all about how many units of production are performed in a period of time. Inflation is the rise in cost of unit produced. The two are not the same or even related. You and your silly etch a sketch. Too funny.
@hippyjoe1955 You can't read a graph and you don't understand percentages! Too funny.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@ElwoodBlues Your ectch a sketch is a joke. As Hayek observed. If a socialist understood economics they wouldn't be a socialist. You are such a joke who thinks he understands what he clearly doesn't. No wonder you are waiting for your darwin.
Guitarman123 · 31-35, M
@hippyjoe1955 you certainly wouldn't be able to adapt to survive
@hippyjoe1955 Now I get it! You call them etch-a-sketches because you can't read them!! Too funny!!

Sadly, you've started name-calling to cover the fact that you're wrong and can't read the graph. Just for yucks, tell us what inflation is over the period covered by the graph. That will really highlight your error.

hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@Guitarman123 I have adapted and survived more change than you can imagine. You are the one who refuses to see the errors in your ideas. Sadly your nonsense has been tried for over a century and a half and it has a perfect record of failure. 100% failure. Amazing how that works. You couldn't fail that much if you tried.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@ElwoodBlues You have no idea what the etch a sketch even shows since you have no idea what production is or what inflation is and how they are not even related.
