Vladimir Ilyich Lenin

Lenin walks around the world.
The sun sets like a scar.
Between the darkness and the dawn
There rises a red star.

The Communist myth suckered many last century.

@ChipmunkErnie It's not a myth. Anytime someone criticise communism they forget the atrocities under tsarist regime and the victims of capitalism. Especially the deaths caused by industrialisation in the western world are comparable with the soviet union with the big difference that the USSR had to go through this process in only a couple of years.
ChipmunkErnie · 70-79, M
@Gloomy No, they don't "forget", and claiming so is just more propaganda. The atrocities of one regime does not legitimize the atrocities of a subsequent regime. And the USSR was not really communist, it was a totalitarian dictatorship run by an elite who BSed the masses and then took control for their own aggrandizement and profit.

@ChipmunkErnie Actually when the Soviet Union is being discussed often they fail to mention what came before and yes atrocities don't outweigh each other but nonethless there was great progress and we shouldn't dismiss everything about the Soviet Union especially the time after Stalin.

It was a Socialist state that while being authoritarian did manage to abolish certain class hierarchies. It wasn't perfect but neither is Capitalism and all its horrors.

@Gloomy anyone with 1mil is capitalist 😂

@Gloomy You must hang with the wrong people; I've always heard both the atrocities of the Tsarist regimes and Communists discussed. And the USSR wasn't actually socialist either -- it was an elitist dictatorship run for the enrichment of the ruling class. It might have done away with certain class hierarchies, but it merely replaced them with pseudo-communist hierarchies.
